  A page that asks the phone what it reports

  Added

  • /insets.html, temporarily. A page that reports what a phone actually says
    about itself — whether it is running standalone, the viewport height by three
    different measures, the safe-area insets, and the geometry of a tab bar built
    the same way the application's is. Added because the tab bar looks wrong on
    an installed iPhone and nothing available here reproduces it: Chrome does not
    emulate display-mode: standalone, and WebKit on Linux has no safe areas at
    all. It goes away once it has answered the question.
