  The diagnostic measures the real navigation

  Fixed

  • /insets.html renders the application's own navigation, in its own markup
    and drawn by its own stylesheet, instead of a hand-made lookalike. The
    lookalike had a label where the real one has an icon above a label, so the
    two were never the same height and comparing them by eye proved nothing. The
    height it reports is now the application's height, on the phone that is
    reporting it — along with how far the label sits from the bottom edge, and
    what the bar's bottom padding actually resolved to.
