2026-10-01 17:14:12 +02:00 | 31 commits to main since this releaseA new codigosh.com. We rebuilt the site from the ground up to look and feel like the tools it presents: quiet, readable and made with care, in light and dark.
It is still a static site with no cookies, no tracking and nothing loaded from outside, but now everything lives under one roof. Every project has its own page, the releases of all of them share one history, and the documentation of each project is part of the site instead of a separate place: same header, same search, same pages. Below is what changed.
Added
- A new look for the whole site: Bricolage Grotesque for headings, Geist for text and a calmer palette, in light and dark, with the Appearance panel to choose
- A release history graph on the home page and the changelog, where every release is a knob on its project's line, with a year picker and an all-time view
- A page of releases at a time in the changelog, a project dropdown and a timeline whose line swells into a knob for each release
- The documentation of every project is now part of the site itself: the same header, the same pages, search across all of it with Ctrl K, and a menu that keeps one project open at a time
- "On this page" in the documentation, with a line and a knob that follow your reading from the top of the page to its last section
- Project pages with the facts of the project in a card beside the title, in-page navigation, screenshots you can enlarge, install commands for Docker and Linux, and the latest release
- An organization page with our promises, how a release gets to you, the history and the ways to reach us
- Dropdowns, buttons and the footer drawn in the same style across the site
Changed
- The documentation no longer depends on a documentation framework: the same pages, at the same addresses, with search built when the site is
- The header says "Source code" for the link to the repositories, here and in the footer
- The footer is smaller: where to ask, the terms, and the name along the bottom
- The gooey lines are smoother, with no stepped edges
Fixed
- The primary button and the active link in the documentation menu now have enough contrast to be read
- Pages no longer shift while images load
- Headings keep their order on every page, and LastHelp has a documentation index
